Is that Robert's head in the back of the Alec and Magnus gifset? If so, does that mean that Robert does not die in 2x17?

I think it is Robert’s head. But to be honest, I haven’t read anything about Robert being the one who dies. 

I also think that the scene in which Magnus and Alec are holding hands is from S02E18 because of Magnus’s outfit so I’m not quite sure.

P.S. I honestly don’t think a Lightwood will die, because from that SDCC trailer, Clary is crying very passionately. I mean, of course Clary is very sensitive to all the characters but I just feel like, whoever dies is actually very close to her.

I don’t know what to expect but I’m so excited. :)
