guess what, guys?? we are turning two months tomorrow !! ( at least for gmt+8 time ). first of all we would like to thank everyone who has been part of this, even if you’ve been here since the beginning or just joined recently, you guys really made laughtrack such a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. we’re so lucky to be able to have such a sweet and dedicated group of roleplayers. fluffy sentiments aside, we’ll be having an ASK MEME WEEKEND starting aug. 29, 12am (gmt+8) until aug. 31, 12am. the ask memes featuring however, will be made by us !! so click under the read more for more info on this.
the first ask meme will be based off our characters. so, basically it will be like this, but instead of herbs/etc., it will be our character’s names. questions for this ask meme will be written in second person format.
[ ex. frankie: what are you most afraid of? ]
the second ask meme will be based off of questions the muns really want to ask. questions for this ask meme should be written in third person format.
[ ex. summer: what’s your character’s favorite breakfast food? ]

as some of you probably already know, j ( @romvnd ) will be leaving the rp. feel free to unfollow the account if you wish. however, we won’t be reopening roman !! instead, we will be retiring the skeleton. we’ve already discussed this in the discord, but the group has agreed to bring in another skeleton to even out the number of active characters. we’ll be putting up the plot drop concerning roman and the new skeleton in the coming days !!

OPEN YOUR SUBMITS EVERYONE !! today, we are finally unveiling what we like to call individual plot drops. we’ve said this even before, but this is gonna be a character driven rp and aside from seeing progression in our characters’ relationships, we’d love to see some progression in their career and personal life that might affect their relationships too. so look under the cut for more info on what these individual plot drops are.
first of all, yes please open your submits because that is where we’ll send in the plot drops.
the plot drops will come in the form of choices. as an example, the first plot drop will be sent to lucy’s account. for lucy’s plot drop, she’ll be sent an email saying she’s been chosen as a panelist for a youtube convention but this is on the same date and time as her callback. in order to respond to this, faye has to write a self-para (can be short or long) that describes lucy’s thought process in her decision. each decision entails its own consequences. being a panelist will cement her youtube career and will give her more freedom with her schedule, but it isn’t what she really wants. choosing the callback will bring her closer to her dream, but the busy schedule will jeopardize her relationships (ehemromanehem).
we’ll probably be sending individual plot drops every other day starting tomorrow. who comes after lucy will be chosen by a randomizer. we’ll dm the mun on discord to discuss what sort choices they want their muse to make. these are not limited to career-related decisions btw!! it can be something involved in their personal life or relationships with other characters (as long as it’s been plotted with the other characters’ muns).
this is both to help cultivate your muse and to eventually combine these individual plot drops into a bigger event !!

hello everyone !! this is a relatively quieter week compared to our last one, but nonetheless we still have some little announcements that will hopefully excite our members and lurkers.
first off, two new skeletons will be posted tomorrow, aug. 9, somewhere around 9-10:30pm (gmt+8). for a little hint, these new characters are kids of the owners of mon’s deli and the bennington bodega !!
we are a little delayed, but we are still planning on sending individual plot drops !! the first two were sent to @lucythompson and @raphaelbrcoks. the next two will be sent to @goldvnby and @svphias. we will be plotting with the muns for the muses in the next batch !!
we might have a discord event some time next week after doing potential acceptances for new skellies, but details are to follow. lastly, activity check is on monday, gmt+8 !!
hello, everyone !! we can’t believe that it’s been a little over a month since we’ve opened !! as a thank you / happy one-month gift, we’ve added some new locations to our locations page. these new locations include a bodega, a record store, an animal shelter, and a small theater !! some of these locations ( we’re not telling which ) also happen to be hints for the new skeletons we’ll be releasing next week.
speaking of new skeletons, we’d love to have our one open muse--robin be taken before we post our new skellies. we are doing rolling acceptances, so once you send out an app, we’ll be accepting it on the spot after we read it as long as there’s no competition !!
lastly, we have edited the montauk event so that it is a two night vacation. event ends tomorrow, aug. 2 at 11:59 pm (gmt+8). you’re still allowed to reply to threads even after the event is done, but no more posting of new threads !!
PINNED POST--hello, everyone !! it’s been such a wild day for us here at laughtrack, but we’re back with some more awesome announcements.
our discord event tomorrow will start at 10:30 AM GMT+8 and will continue for 24 hours. it will first start with a session of NEVER HAVE I EVER (but we can always expand the games as we go along). basically, the scenario is @lucythompson has invited everyone over for a hang-out, complete with drinks and riley’s cooking.
