I know this is a stupid question, but how do I know which manga is the rereleased one and which is the original? I haven't done that much research on Sailor Moon manga, so idk. Also, is it available in box sets or in an omnibus? :D OH AND HAVE THEY ANNOUNCED WHEN THE NEW SAILOR MOON SERIES WILL BE RELEASED? IM SO EXCITED I CAN'T BREATHE
You can tell by the covers! The new manga covers feature Naoko's newer style. It's easy to tell because (apart from the last volume and the short story volumes) each cover features a Senshi in her Eternal form (except for the first volume, which features Sailor Moon in her first uniform.) For example, here are the covers for Volume 2 (in Japanese, but the artwork is the same):
Also, you won't be able to find the original releases in bookstores. They've been out of print for years. And yes, there is a box set! However, it contains only the first six volumes. I'm assuming that, after Volume 12 is published, they'll release another six volume box set. You can buy the first one on Amazon!
And no, I'm sorry, there's no official release date. It was originally supposed to come out this summer but it's been postponed and we haven't gotten any more news about it. ;__;
