A host and curator of the thematic broadcast (x)=musik on Lyl Radio and the eclectic guest contributions for Sounds Unsaid on dublab.de, and an organiser of the “Are You Listening?” series of experimental music evenings taking place at Arkaoda Berlin since 2019, Laura Not likes to call herself a sound-collagist when behind the decks. Her sets are the space in which hybrid sonic materials, entwined in hidden bonds, gather into an idiosyncratic narration.
"If I had to come up with a title for this mix, I'd call it "feeling beyond distance". In times in which distances seem to grow between places and people, I was thinking about how sensations and desires exist freely beyond the boundaries of space and time.
