GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S6E1)

Logan I really hate you! You literally know you have Rory wrapped around your little finger and you are going to be the main person who she will listen to in order to go back to school. Yes, you tried talking to her about it but after she says no just once you accept her decision to drop out of college and don’t talk about it anymore. You hate your life so you want her to suffer with you? Disgusting!

Emily and Richard, you may think you were helping but you just doomed Rory’s future even more! She could have went to her scheduled court date alone and received 20 hours of community service. Instead, you hire a lawyer to try and get her out of her situation and not have her pay the consequences. SHE STOLE SOMEONE’S BOAT AT THE DOCK WITH LOGAN!!!! She needs to pay for what she did! You don’t do something wrong and just get away with it! The judge was even being kind and docking off 10 hours of service because she’s never done a crime before! Yet your FANCY LAWYER had to open his ego mouth and try to have her not do community service AT ALL! You just set a horrible example as guardians! You showed the judge she is a spoiled rich brat and shouldn’t have to pay anything because she comes from a rich family! I get grandparents always think a grandkid is a way to make up for their mistakes and they get a second chance but this was the wrong way to do it. Because of you, Rory now has to do 300 hours of service AND it’s going to be on her record for 5 years! Congratulations!!!

Lorelai you gave up too quickly as Rory’s mom when she needed you now more than ever. Yes she is an adult, but she is young like Luke said! Rory needs guidance through life and she’s going to need it until she hits 28 years old. Because you didn’t get your way, and you feel betrayed by your parents you literally threw your daughter away and let your irresponsible parents have her. You could’ve even spoken to Logan on your own to have him persuade Rory that what his dad said isn’t the end of the world and she should still attend college. But no, you’re allowing the chips to fall where they may. Yes, young adults are going to make mistakes but you shouldn’t have her figure it out by herself like you had to. Your daughter has you and you need to guide her. You’re so immature at times!

GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S5E22)

I knew Logan’s dad was up to something! Now because Rory was given news by him that he believes she doesn’t cut it to be a journalist she wants to take time off of Yale and figure her life out.

I get that it’s an amazing opportunity to work as an intern for the top dog, but just because he says no doesn’t mean that he’s the only opinion you need to listen to Rory. He may say you don’t cut it as a journalist but that just means you need to light a fire under your ass and prove him wrong! A lot of top dogs become so big headed that they no longer see the potential of what’s right in front of them and they know their opinion matters and they will just say and do anything! His door may have closed, but you can start interning at a lower company too and still do just as good! Maybe even be valued there too! But no, you’re allowing his words to take control of you and your future instead.

Lorelai you are very controlling! You didn’t work hard to get Rory through school. Rory did all of that. You worked your butt off to be an independent, single mother who’s also a business owner. Rory got to where she is due to all her hard work in school and your parents money. Rory needs to deal with this blow from someone she looked up to. It made her think that if she can’t cut it as a journalist in the real world then she doesn’t know what to do with her life and she has no fallback career like Paris did. She wanted to be a lawyer and now Paris is pre-med. You made Rory feel unsafe by being controlling and telling her she will be staying at Yale and she has no place to stay in your house! Yet, you’re angry that your parents are giving your daughter a place to stay and supporting her. I get you’re angry that Rory is taking time off but she truly needs to think about this. This her life and her future, NOT YOURS!
