Blazepaw, Burnpaw and Blisterpaw look like they have had an interesting story even at such a young age. Care to tell what happened to them to look so unhappy and how Pyrepaw relates to their (half) siblings?

burnpaw and blisterpaw are older than their kinder half sisters—and much crueler. they are around frogpaws age, and spent much of their young apprenticehood bullying her in increasingly worse ways. it was only when arcpelt, frogpaws older brother, secretly stepped in to put a stop to it that they relented. they are the only ones afraid of arcpelt for a reason.

burnpaw is the older of the two. she is a brutal fighter, and hates her mentor stormpelt for his calm and meticulous fighting style and approach to teaching. she despises blisterpaw and blazepaw as well, seeing them as constantly trying to one-up her. pyrepaw is…not really anything to her. too reckless and softhearted, and too attached to her friends to even try to beat burnpaw.

blisterpaw is far smarter than burnpaw, and often far crueler. she isnt a violent cat—usually—but she is deeply conniving and often passive aggressive. she thinks herself above her siblings. after all, none of them are in the prestigious position of being an inventors apprentice—and to plumbriar at that! he was a prophecy cat in his youth, after all. blisterpaw is perhaps the most ambitious of her sisters, aiming for the rule over wisteriaclan rather than being the best fighter like burnpaw. she doesnt care about either blazepaw or pyrepaw, seeing them as stupid and useless.

blazepaw is pyrepaws twin sister. she loves wholeheartedly and frivolously, with a new crush each week. she has a massive crush on hushpaw, seeing her as an icy cat with a heart of gold underneath. her loving nature makes her pleasant to be around, if not a little airheaded. she doesnt really care for her older half sisters—shes got her twin after all! she loves pyrepaw, padding after her and looking at her like shes got all of the secrets in the world. she idolizes her sister, as shes the only family shes truly got. blazepaw has an eye for natural beauty, and shows incredible promise in her role as a weaver’s apprentice.

as for their story, its…complicated. russetfrost and laurelsight, their mothers, were dear friends. after ash, the father of both of the litters, strung them along, the two both parted ways with them. russetfrost gave him a good scar as he went. russetfrost was angry—at him, at the world—but not at her best friend. never at her best friend. so, the two left the clan with the guise of heading to the lunar falls, the holy site of the clans. the trip is long and dangerous, so it made sense for laurelsight to bring along such a strong warrior. instead, they made off into the forest, and laurelsight took care of russetfrost as she had her kits. when laurelsight had hers a few moons later, they decided to claim that theyd been handed off to laurelsight by one of her sisters. after all, she was from a big litter of many rogues! laurelsight was already fluffy and pudgy, so it had been easy to hide her pregnancy. shed also taken herbs to prevent her milk coming in. the two returned to the clans, but russetfrost died not too long after due to a respiratory illness that struck in winter. the kits were dispersed amongst the nursery, weaned by different mothers. laurelsight doted on them as their aunt.

it was only laurelsight who could not have kits. the role of a starseer is holy, and they make an oath of celibacy. cats can have mates outside the clan otherwise.

none of the sisters are aware of the truth surrounding their birth.
