Honestly this was the last thing that the blonde had ever thought she would be doing. But she was proud of herself. The bakery was finished and ready to open. Even if it was just herself running things for awhile. Of course she made the offer to Imogen to work there and that was one offer that she would never take away. She glanced down at her son and smiled. The thought of him turning one was scary to the blonde but he would be soon. Three more months to be exact. Being able to actually raise him had scared her at first because of what she had done to her daughter. She worried about that affect on the younger blonde and how she actually felt about everything. The truth was she felt horrible for not being able to raise Imogen and be there for her. She hated that. But she wasn’t the only one that played a role in that part, her parents had also. She often wondered what it would have been like to raise the younger blonde after she had gotten better. But her parents hadn’t given her that chance, that made her frustrated at them. Not like she wanted to be upset with them, it just happened even after she had come back. Sighing a little bit, the blonde shook her head. “Come on, baby boy. Lets go and see grandpa and grandma.” she said this as she placed him back into his stroller. She didn’t mind the walk and the day hadn’t been that bad out. It had been a nice fall day. Making her way to her parents, she raised her hand to knock on the door. Yes she was still upset with them but they were her parents and they loved looking after Daniel. Which she was glad for. Even though she wouldn’t tell them that. When her mother answered, Brooke smiled. “Everything is in his bag and I’ll be over sometime in the morning and afternoon to pick him up. Thanks for watching him.” Elizabeth just smiled and nodded, taking Daniel inside. The blonde made her way across the street, and took a fast shower and got ready. Sure Lauren had no idea what was going to happen but she liked surprising people. Taking her phone out, the blonde scrolled through the contacts and found the brunettes name. ‘Hey if you aren’t working, you should meet me at my bakery.’ she hit send and waited for an answer. So maybe she had plannes this. Planned this whole night all day but she was excited and honestly Lauren had been unexpected. Brooke never thought that she would feel happy and safe with someone again and she did with Lauren. So her feeling for the other woman had completely thrown her off and was unexpected but Brooke wasn’t about to question it. She made her way out to her car while she waited on the response, driving towards her bakery. Once she got there, she got out and moved inside, waiting for an answer.
