Louise giggled when he picked her up, wrapping her arms round him as he took her to the couch. “You’re silly.” She chuckled, tugging the blanket up and snuggling into him. “Listen… it’s quiet.” Louise joked. “Wonder how long we’ll get this time.”

“That I am. It’s one of the many reasons why you love me.” Trevor chuckled lightly, holding her close to him even after she tugged the blanket up around them. Taking a moment, he listened to the quietness. “That it is.” He spoke softly. “No idea but I’m enjoying this time with you. I’m lucky that you came into my life.”

lauren--hayes​:

“It’s great, though it does feel like it’s been one thing after another outwith the whole new married life thing. She’s doing… okay, considering. How’s Louise?”

“I’m sure you guys will make it work. I know it seems like everything is being thrown at you guys right now. Just keep reminding her that you are there for her. Best advice I got. She’s good. We both are exhausted but making it. Speaking of, you want to see your nephew?”

“That is great! I’m glad he’s getting a forever home. Just wish all animals that are waiting to be adopted will have the same you know?” 

“Same to be honest. All animals need that forever home.”

“She’ll probably love him.”

“Good. I was hoping you would say that. Think you can bring her by to see TJ?”

“Okay that is an adorable dog, and he clearly loves you.” She chuckled. 

“He really is and I’m totally going to give him a forever home.”

“If you don’t adopt him, I will.” Alice smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes- her eyes that were quite noticeably red. “Does he have a name?”

“Oh, yeah I am totally going to adopt him.” Trevor smiled back at her. Of course he noticed that her smile didn’t reach her eyes, she was very unlike Alice. “I was thinking Spike or something. Got any ideas for me?”

Finn nodded. “I think he fits you. You should adopt him.” 

“I think I am going to do that.”

“Yeah… he seems pretty sweet…”

“He is. Do you think that Elena will like him?”

“Reckon you can handle a dog and a baby at the same time then?”

“That I most certainly can do sis. How is married life? How is Brooke doing?”

Louise smiled. She was tired but happy as she nodded, moving over and wrapping her arms round him. “Uh huh… finally.” She chuckled, closing her eyes as she leaned against him. “Can we just curl up on the couch for a bit under that big fluffy blanket before he wakes up again?” She chuckled softly.

Trevor kissed her head lightly, with a smile on his lips as his arms went around her. “Oh, we most certainly can do that.” He picked her up gently and moved over to the couch. Setting her down before he sat down, his arms going around her again after he put the blanket around them.

“I’m not crying, you’re crying.” Alice shifted her gaze briefly to the person behind her in the mirror before going back to fixing her eye liner. She couldn’t look at anyone for too long without tearing up, but it wasn’t entirely because this was her sister’s wedding. Of course, Alice was insanely happy for Lauren and she was honoured to be one of the bridesmaids, but selfishly, all she could think about was how this was everything she wanted, but didn’t have. She didn’t even have a date- how sad was that? “If you need the mirror, I can scoot over.”

“I am not crying.” Trevor chuckled lightly, holding his son as he looked over at Alice for a moment. “I like to think my make up looks good.” He joked. “How are you doing? Honestly.”

“Is he finally asleep?” Trevor questioned, looking over at her for a moment. “If not I can tag in and you can get some much needed rest.”

Penny nodded, trying not to act as suspicious as she felt.  Clearly Trevor was comfortable with what he was doing if he chose to do it here.  “Thank you, I know it was kind of short notice.” She said softly, giving him a small smile as she followed him into the back.

Trevor was very comfortable with what he had been doing. Even when he did it back home. “It’s fine. I don’t mind.” He moved into the vault with her, and closed it behind them. Going over to the safety deposit box, using his hand to open it. It was the only way this one would open with his fingerprints. “How much do you need?”

“Well, I was thinking Garrett…” Lauren joked, pretending to be very serious before she just laughed and made a face. “Of course I was thinking you.” She smiled, nudging him. “I’m gonna have Nicola and Aria and Alice bridesmaids. I’m gonna put them in pretty pink dresses and they’re gonna accept it.” Lauren laughed. “Can’t promise that, you know how Charlie is.” She joked.

“Liesss.” Trevor teased lightly before cracking up and laughing just as much. He knew better. Garrett would be the last person and he knew this.  “Good, I’m glad. Cause I totally want to make you my son’s godmother.” He chuckled lightly. “I’m sure they are going to love that.” He snapped his fingers. “Damn, guess I will just have to go with it.” He joked.
