2: Which languages you know.
Catalan, Spanish and English.I can more or less read and listen to Italian, unless it’s spoken super quickly or with a very heavy accent; for example seagreeneyes‘s accent is lovely and I understand most of what she says (same with her family) andoldstonefacevimes never speaks Italian around me, so idk about him (ja saps lo que te toca). Not so good with Sicilian accents though, despite all those hours watching Il Commissario Montalbano bc of my parents.I can read French but I’ve forgotten most of what I learnt years ago, so I can’t do much more than introduce myself and ask how much a metro ticket costs.
3:Which languages you are learning, or want to learn.
I’m not learning any languages at the moment because I’m really busy with work and uni, but I want to learn French and Italian properly. I’d also like to learn Modern Standard Arabic and Russian (and a few more, but that’s not very likely).
4: Does anyone in your family speak a language that you don’t?
My mum used to speak German semi-fluently but hasn’t used it in years and now claims to have forgotten it completely.
7: Your favourite word in your native language.
Alfàbrega (basil) but in the typical Majorcan pronunciation, which isaufabaguera.
12: If you could pick one language to learn automatically without having to work for it, which language would you choose?
Modern Standard Arabic or Standard Chinese.
