lanovizia replied to your post: Oh maaaaan, I’m so anxious about classes. Fuck...
Do you have any fun classes this semester?? :(
My History of the English Language class could be really cool--but if it goes the way of all the other classes I thought sounded really cool, it'll turn out to be dull and uninteresting. But we'll see.
"Death and Desire in Premodern Japan" could ALSO be really cool, but see above. Also, I know the professor is tough, there's a LOT of reading, and a LOT of writing, so.... /resists urge to gnaw on something
Japanese 301 might be alright. It's just a language class, so... we'll see.
So, first off, I have three 300 level courses, two of which are actual Hard Core 300 level courses. AWESOME. /sarcasm sets someone on fire
Then I have that PG 103 class after all, and I..... ?!?!?!? I'm kind of crawling out of my skin about it, but I don't know what else to do. There are only two classes in this core that interest me--and I have never seen them offered. They MIGHT be offered next semester, but if they aren't, I will literally have no choice but to take that core.
I also can't really risk it falling into the slot that my literature survey class or Japan 300+ culture class HAVE to fall into, either. And I'm definitely going to need both of those or I don't get my minor or major, and with Japanese 302, that means I've only got that one shot.
So.... I'm on a very, very thin tightrope here. And if I, say, fall off that tightrope, I run the risk of being a 5th Year Senior, and that is literally something I cannot afford to do.
So............. yeah. 8| I am very unhappy.
(Also, I'm taking a ballroom dancing PE credit, so we'll see how that goes XDDDDDD [completely optional, and if classes are normally 1 credit, this is .25] )
