Dad Randy being Unknowingly Aware of Levi’s ninja antics

There is something wrong with my stomach so take some dad randy hcs

Randy knows Levi is the ninja, the mind wipe just blocks him from being able to really know.

Levi has a tendency to forget his things and leave them around the house, and the nomicon and suit are no exception. Randy has picked up the nomicon/ninja suit more times than he can count, but he just assumes that it’s Levi’s math book and hat and slips them into his backpack so he doesn’t forget it when he leaves for school.

Whenever he sees Levi schlomped out, he always assumes he’s just taking a nap no matter where Levi actually is.

“Hey Bud, I saw you ‘taking a nap’ on the living room floor today when I came home. If you’re gonna ‘sleep’, do it in your bed. You might catch a cold if you ‘sleep’ somewhere else, and there’s less chance of you falling down.” - Randy, at dinner after finding Levi shlcomped out for the first time.

Levi usually gets a pass whenever he accidentally shows up late or completely misses class altogether since “sometimes it’s just out of your control.”

Randy can’t help but feel very anxious whenever the Ninja actually shows up to fight off a monster. It’s a mix of unresolved ninja trauma, Dad Instincts, and just general panic. Once the ninja takes out the monster, he can’t help but immediately go to find Levi and ask him if he’s alright. A part of him knows that he’ll be okay bc he has the suit + nomicon, but he just can’t help it.

Randy has a weird habit of unknowingly dropping random Ninja tips in the middle of a conversation. Levi sometimes asks where he got that tip from, and he just shrugs.

Levi’s honestly surprised Randy doesn’t recongize the nomicon with how much stuff he lets him get away with.
