Was something burning? She smelled smoke, but she had heard there was a fire type gym in this town. Still, wouldn’t the smell be at least a little less strong this far away from it?

/night own for sure - party hard, motherfuckers. no, but seriously, wallace just finds that they function best at night as opposed to in broad daylight. things are cooler, there’s less people to clog up the space, and when they do want a lot of people around them?

A familiar head of bright red hair catches Wallace’s attention - All of the gym leaders had been called to Rustboro for some meeting or another, but the way that his lips curled into a smirk at the sight of Flannery could only mean that she was in for her daily amount of roasting. Well, not daily. More like monthly.

“Well well! No one’s soaked the embers yet, I see.” He begins with a simple pun as to her gym type and its reputation, leaning back in the big conference chair and twirling an aqua lock of hair around his finger. “Surprising, to say the least. You are not so much in over your head now, are you? ‘Ave some experience under your belt yet, sweetie?”
