{ hey everyone! some small announcements under the cut ... which may or may not be surprising to anyone.

God I wish that were me is his first thought upon hearing Harley say that, and perhaps it’s the reason why he’s so bitter in the first place. He’d been like that once. It’d been ripped out of his hands.

“Oh, I don’t know … it’s always the sweet ones who are absolutely unpredictable in the bedroom. But she does seem a little like that, non?”

Harley is quiet for a solid few seconds. He sincerely hates how much Wallace has a point right now. Part because of the characters involved, but more because he just liked to be right–especially in front of people he needed to impress at all costs.

His eyes drift to the couple, quietly assessing the situation; considering a response.

“Yeah… I guess.” Bringing a cookie to his lips without taking a bite, “Looks like you’re gonna win this one.” It’s hard to tell how exactly he feels about that assesment. In his younger days, he might’ve been more upset about the very idea of anything going well for someone he disliked. But even while he couldn’t say he was jumping for joy about it, there were still plenty of ways to take advantage of the situation.

So long as Wallace didn’t get bored and leave, anyway.

“Get used to that darling, I have a very big number of wins attached to my name.” Wallace laughs haughtily before abruptly, and very much on purpose crossing one leg over the other — Making the slitted skirt he’s wearing today show off some thigh and hip before the fabric settles into place again. “My biggest win however would have to be your heart, non?” He bats his eyelashes (real and fake) at Harley before laughing again, taking another sip of wine. “How lucky they are to have everything turn out just ever so perfect for them,” The gym leader sighs with nothing but contempt and even disdain that the show was over! “God, it must be easy. Where’s my drama? Where’s the yelling? The things left best unsaid?”

..::✧❤ “To be honest, I don’t really eat much in the way of breads and pastas,” he admitted. “Too many carbs. Means I have to do more running to keep this lovely figure of mine~ I’m a big fan of fruits and veggies though. Soups, salads, and anything having to do with mushrooms. Especially black truffles. I’m a big fan.”

Of course he’d go for the expensive stuff. Though Harley was a bit more of a Heath nut than most people realized. He worked hard for that flat stomach and gorgeous bod.

“I don’t eat that much meat either. Nothing against it, I just.. tend to stick to fish and plant matter.”

Unlike his beloved Cacturne, which adored it’s fresh meat.

“My two favorite fruits would have to be prickly pears, and grapes.”

Oh man did he love grapes. Grape juice was his absolute favorite drink, though he wouldn’t admit that out loud. Not when he was hoping to impress Wallace. Most people associated such a drink with children. ❤✧::..

“Really now! I’ll have to keep that in mind, non? Black truffles ... I’m certain that’ll be on the menu somewhere.”

It WAS a Kalosian-style cafe, after all. It was glitzy, glamorous, and expensive, all the things that tourists thought of when someone spoke of Kalos. Someone who knew any better would understand that Kalos was more than the glitter and expensive atmosphere of Lumiose city, but to an outsider, that’s all that was ever on the news. Fashion this, fashion that, these trends are in, these trends are out ...

He seems distant for a moment thinking of his home country, but soon snaps back to paying attention to Harley with a blink of an eye. “You do well for that figure of yours,” He coos softly as the sleepy little town grows closer, “It shows how much effort you put into your appearance. That’s adorable. Though, I wouldn’t ‘ave placed you as someone so into their health but it makes sense when you really ponder it, non?”

“We’re nearly there. I hope you’ve worked up an appetite, chéri!”
