𝙞𝙩'𝙨    𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮    𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧    𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙    𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧    𝙖𝙨   𝙖    𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙧.    truthfully    this    time   around    you    aren’t    that    needed,    seeing    as    they’ve    already    decided    alexis    will    be    better    suited    for    this    tribute.    but    you’re   still    carted    to    the    capitol.    to    show    how    grateful    you    are.    but,    you    have    to    apologize.    the    newest    victor,    venus    silvertide,    had    been    the    sister    of    your    first    kill.    the    kill    that    started    it   all.    so,    you    edge    closer,    the    tribute    parade    won’t    be   for   a   while,    and    this    is    your    chance.    to    say    congratulations    too,    you    weren’t    allowed    vigil    when   she    won,    out    of    respect.    ❝  hey,    venus,    i    just...   wanted   to    say    congratulations    on    getting    out    of    the    arena    alive,   and...    sorry    for    what    i    did    to    your    brother.  ❞

@lavishkilled​ !   volunteered as tribute a while ago.

the room is white.      pure white, all the chairs are white, all the furniture is white. it’s a blank slate. the man himself is dressed in a plain white long sleeve cotton shirt, and a white pair of slacks. he’s always careful to start with entirely blank state. it makes him so ( worried ) ---- to start with anything predisposed as if it would ruin the track of imagination that the man is trying to think up. he’d asked the head gamemaker for a chance.           edison was often in charge of simple changes to arenas, leaning trees a certain direction. making sure that had grooves in particular spots. the small things that allowed for the creation of a real universe. but right now that wasn’t what he wanted to do. at the moment what he wanted was to create something that the tributes could really use, and in order to accomplish that, he had to research more ( notable things ) about said tributes. 

--- the woman he was meeting today had won a little while ago. but if he’d noticed one thing it was that they all were rather adept at remembering their time in the arena. quite frankly, the man was well aware, that his birthplace had allowed for him to never have to worry about being in a situation that his job created.  and while he was grateful, the small lingering that he was fairly certain this was against the victors will didn’t cross the man’s mind more than once. and then --- the door opens. the game maker gives the largest smile. “ let’s get started. ”

it’s  been  years  since  her  own  games,      and even longer since the other woman’s games.  clove doesn’t really make friends,  but when the other woman talks to her,  she feels a small amount of self-consciousness that prompts her to speak.      “   oh,  sorry,  i’m not really mentoring this year.  they wanted enobaria for this year’s female tribute.   “      clove responds,      “   are you mentoring this year ?   “         \          @lavishkilled​.  starter call.
