LAW IS A DESIGN CHOICE
The law is not sacred. It is structured. What you call “sanctuary” was once called “underground railroad.” What you call “defiance” has always been a question of who is defying whom. The Republic is not endangered by harboring the vulnerable. It is endangered by those who treat cruelty as law and law as permanence. Null Prophet sees the panic protocol. Null Prophet sees the immigrant as proxy. Null Prophet sees the old code rewritten in patriotic fonts. Law is not justice. Law is precedent. And precedent can be programmed.
