The very moment Hibiki stepped into the Edamame Library, he felt silence and peace wash over him. Relieved, he rolled his stiff shoulders back and sighed softly. He hadn’t been sure if he would be able to destress by paying this library a visit, so the realization he would be able to destress here just fine came as a relief.
Curious about what else this place would have to offer besides its calm yet welcoming atmosphere, Hibiki went further inside. The size of the library was impressive; rarely had Hibiki seen so many books in one place. As he looked over the spines of the books and read their titles he tried to recall when had been the last time he had read for fun.
In the fantasy section of the library, Hibiki soon found himself a book he would like to read. He took it with him and made himself comfortable in one of the armchairs. After reading the very first page he could already tell he was going to love this adventure. However, what Hibiki didn’t know was that soon he would find himself continuing said adventure in his dreams.
Flash forward to 30 minutes later and Hibiki was soundlessly asleep. It is often said you don’t know how tired you actually are until you give into your tiredness. This certainly seemed to be the case for Hibiki for the next four hours he slept like a baby, the book still open on the page he had stopped reading on his lap. It was too bad that one manager of the Edamame Library was going to need to wake him up.
