So, Law and Lea promised each other to be together for all eternity, and agreed that the best way to do that would be to get rid of their mortal bodies and preserve their souls in phylacteries, hidden away from other humans. They moved into a cabin, deep into the woods, and through many years, Azalea strengthen her magic enough to be able to perform the ritual with Lawrence first. She separated his soul from his body and captured it in a deer skull shaped necklace, which she then placed around his neck, and let his corpse sink to the bottom of the lake. Now Azalea is trying to find the way to perform the ritual on herself, but in the meantime, her and Lawrence’s Lich start to notice a sudden and gradual increase of young people winding up at the lake, looking scared, injured and sometimes on the verge of death. Eventually they find out these are being brought by a Hunter. Whether the man has always lived nearby or arrived recently, they don’t know, but his presence disturbs the forest’s peace. They are no heroes, they don’t intervene, but Azalea still feels bad for the souls of the victims, so she’s found a way to also capture them in objects, and turn them into spirits of the forest. Now she cares for them, as if they were her children, and helps them find peace. They’re not alone anymore and they don’t have to be scared anymore.
