[2026-06-05] This is the lovely birch wood below Lawrencefield. A great walk from Surprise view carpark over to Millstone Edge and then onto Lawrencefield. The way back is up Padley Gorge.

[2024-11-14] This is Lawrencefield Quarry. A great walk on an autumn morning. Started at Suprise View then onto Padley Gorge, up to Lawrencefield (here) and then onto Millstone Edge, up to Owler Tor and back. Lovely sunny morning in late autumn.
