Lawsonomy, Springfield, IL, 1939
Hello, this is my drawing of the Lawsonomy polcompball.
Here's a link to the polcompwiki about Lawsonomy :)
Most people have likely never heard of aviator, baseball player and economic philosopher Alfred Lawson and his religion Lawsonomy. There's a good chance, however, they've seen the University of Lawsonomy, a farm located on I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago, emblazoned with the message "Study Natural Law." (via OnMilwaukee.com Movies & TV: The Last of the Lawsonomists lives on)
The story behind this barn is actually fascinating. I had no idea until my mom looked it up and found out about Lawson and his teachings.
Look what Lawson ephemera turned up on eBay...(via RARE 1920 Lawson Airline Document Alfred Lawsonomy Airplane Milwaukee Wisconsin | eBay)
We don't even have one of these in our massive collection of Alfred Lawson related ephemera.
You've got 13 days to scoop it up and 13 days to donate to our the Kickstarter for our documentary about Alfred Lawson and his last active follower.
