LAYAG LAYAG BEACH Batangas is truly blessed with beautiful beaches. This one we visited has been popular in Facebook all over Summer 2017. How to get there? •Ride a bus bound to Nasugbu, Batangas (Tagaytay-Nasugbu Php 78.00) •Then ride a trike that will take you to Brgy. Papaya (Php 300.00 maximum of 4 persons. You may contact Kuya Bong at 09267824054 to take you there. Some of the driver there will offer Php 350-400 just for one ride.) •When you reach Brgy. Papaya, you may contact ate Menchi and kuya Toper for the boat transfer at 09368851447. (Php 200.00/person back and forth) Things to Remember: •You can bring your own tent. But if you don't have, you can rent to ate Menchi for only Php 300.00. But since we got three tents, we asked her to make it Php 200.00 each and she agreed. They are very accommodating. We also asked them to cooked for our food for free that they brought the next morning to the island for free also. •There's a store in the island but of course the goods are pricey. I suggest to buy all the things that you need before going to the island most especially WATER. •If you plan to do bonfire, you can just pick some branches at the island but if you're too lazy to do it, there are kids there roaming who you can ask to pick branches and you just have to give them any amount of money. •There are comfort rooms on the island but not well maintained. So good luck! •Text kuya Toper an hour before you plan to go back. •Comfort Room at ate Menchi's house is big. It's also clean like I didn't expect it since lot of tourists come and go. •You may contact Kuya Bong again to pick you up. Or if you don't want to, there are tricycle drivers waiting outside ate Menchi's house. But before riding ask the tricycle driver first for the price, because some of them may trick you. They will drop you off at the Nasugbu City Proper. •Ride a bus bound to Pasay. Things You Can Do There: •swimming •snorkeling (just bring your own snorkling gear) •cliff diving •rock climbing (Before you could cliff dive, the path going there is quite adventurous. No one will assist you. You have to do it on your own.) •island hopping (Php 100/pax) •bonfire •walwal (yes! You can bring alcohols at the island) Total Cost: •Transportation Bus - Php 156.00 (back and forth) •Tricycle - Php 600.00 good for 4 (back and forth) Php 150/pax •Boat Transfer - Php 200/head •Island Hopping - Php 100/pax •TOTAL = Php 656.00 (food excluded)
