Okay, this started as a small challenge for myself. I tried to use as few layers as I felt comfortable with. I managed to mostly use only one or 2 layers at a time. (Kept the initial sketch as a backup tho). I repainted his face atleast 2 times xD But I learned a lot and I got to use more textured brushes than I usually use. I love how the colors turned out. Other that the piece is bit all over the place, but this was meant to be more of a study anyway so... I will post the timelapse soon-ish.
