How do any of the men - Rafael, Sonny, Peter, or, Mike handle their daughter getting her first period and no mom or female is around at the moment to help? For those who are married their wife might be away visiting family, work trip, anything where it forces the men to have to handle it for the time being.
SonnySonny has a pretty good understanding of girls on their period, due to his wife. He’ll still pick up the wrong pads or tampons but he’s trying. Amelia was 12 and Sophia was in Boston visiting her brother. She was crying in the bathroom and Sonny went to talk to her about it. He has to tell her that it was part of becoming a woman… and had to help her understand pads and tampons. When he calls Sophia that night and tells her what happened, she’s proud.
RafaelDue to Rafael being a single father, he leaned on Olivia, his mother and a LOT of Google searches to help Rosie understand her period. When Rosie starts, she bleeds right through into her sheets and she’s scared she could be dying since bleeding is a sign of her ulcers. When she wakes up Rafael, he’s confused until he realizes what has happened. He bought some pads a few years before since he didn’t know exactly what she would start, and surprisingly she was 13, almost 14 when she started her period.

It didn’t hit Avery in the morning, but right before she had to go to school. She was using the bathroom one last time to check her makeup when she noticed a red spot on her shorts. She’s panicking because she’s going to miss the bus and her perfect outfit is ruined. Avery is frantically searching for a new outfit and panties and Peter tries to see what’s wrong. Once she’s dressed, he noticed the blood stained clothing on the floor. Embarrassed, Peter asks if she needs anything before walking into the bathroom to show her the different size pads.

She’s a complete mess, crying in her bed in the middle of the night. She was frantically trying to explain that she woke up in a small puddle of blood and she doesn’t know where the blood came from. Mike was worried and didn’t know what to do. He was frantically running around the apartment trying to find something. He finds pads and tampons in the bathroom and gives them to Layla. Once she gets herself situated and Mike begins to clean her sheets and mattress. Once she’s got everything read, Mike finds out that she starts her period and starts reading off all this stuff. He lets her sleep in bed with him while her sheets dry and everything.
