Her hand was still on the doorway as his question carried through the air, and for a moment she went quiet, her head lowering slightly. In all honesty, she hadn’t thought this far ahead. He probably didn’t even realize how much courage it had taken for her to even had done what she did and now he was prodding her, encouraging her to stay instead of just walking away like she had intended on doing, she wasn’t used to this.

Finally, she turned again to face him but didn’t move away from the doorway.
