LAYTERS TASK: 001

so we’re kicking off our first group wide task with something nice and simple !! please remember tasks are NOT mandatory but are encouraged for character development and to allow other members to better understand your babies !! 

tasks can be posted at any time, we have no limit on this. 

this task is....a MOODBOARD of who your character was before the massacre. we know many of them have lost people, are scarred or upset by what has happened, but who were they before this great tragedy ?? your moodboard can be static images or gifs, it can take on an aesthetic style or a personality style. however you’d like it to be !! if you need any help sourcing material to use or want examples, we are more than happy to assist.

OKAY SO !! i’ve had a look at our timezone sitch and my, my, we are a global rp !! with that in mind...we will open for plotting Friday 11th at 11.30pm (GMT) and open for interactions on Saturday 12th at 11pm (GMT). There is a converter here for if you’re not sure what that means in your timezone. I know that that might not completely work for everyone but i’ve done my best to accommodate when differing timezones might be able to be on. the reason that we open for plotting the day before is so that even if you can’t be on for the opening, you don’t miss out on getting your ideas in the mix !! we will also have an ooc discord server which i have set up. if you would like to be a part of it, we can send you the link. this is in no way compulsory and please don’t feel as though you have to join, it’s just if you want to !!

Happy Valentine’s Day lovebirds and single pringles !! 

Alfie’s Bar will be throwing a valentine’s bash for the annual day of celebration && commiseration. Expect heart confetti, balloons, love ballads on the speakers and way, way, way too much booze. Entry is free as always and anyone old enough to remember Never Had A Dream Come True on the radio is welcome to attend. Doors will be open from 8 till late so get in and let cupid’s arrows fire. 

IC Event Notes:

The event will take place on the night of the 14th of February.

As Alfie’s tends to be a younger crowd not everyone will be expected to attend this bar and may choose to visit one of the other watering holes throwing more low key evenings.

Alfie’s will be offering a special valentine’s cocktail at the bar and providing sample shots as a promotion on the street outside. 

The management is not aware that their cocktail mix has been tainted with small doses of foxglove, vervain and wolfsbane. 

While completely harmless and ineffective on any humans that consume the free shots && valentine’s cocktails, any supernatural that drinks these may experience the following symptoms: hallucinations, inability to lie/desire to profess hidden truths && a lack of control over their abilities. The symptoms will be less or more severe depending on how much the person drinks.

OOC Event Notes:

The event will start at 11pm (GMT) on Wednesday 13th and will end at 11pm (GMT) on Friday 15th. 

We know that some of your characters might not go to Alfie’s which is why we’ve made it that Alfie’s is offering promo shots outside the bar. This way even if your character doesn’t attend the event itself they can still be part of the effects of the ‘poison’ if you so choose. 

Supernaturals will not know what is effecting them; the alcohol && mixers in the cocktail mix will disguise the taste of the plants. They also won’t have an immediate effect so some people might have knocked back several before any symptoms hit. 

Please tag your event starters with laytersevent002 and put current threads on hold during the event.
