PHOTOGRAPHER: I am a photographer interested in shooting [SHOW]. I'm based in [CITY], my fee is $200 for the night. All photos would be available to the company for promotion. This is my third time trying to establish contact with the talent.

ME: Hi there. Are you offering your services to shoot the band like a wedding photographer?

P: No. I am offering my services to shoot [BAND]. The pics will be yours to use how ever you like.

M: Usually, the bride's side pays for the photographer. In this situation, there are two of them in the band... both of them dudes. Do they split it down the middle?

P: $200 is a very fair price. You can pay however you want to pay it.

M: Well, I guess they could split it, being that they've been in the band for longer than seven years, it can be considered a kinda common law marriage, right?

P: Do you want my services or not?
