圧倒的な歌唱力と繊細かつ人間味あふれる演技力で数々の主役を務め、常に高い評価を得てきた。 退団後は、芝居、ミュージカル、朗読、コンサートなど舞台活動をしながら後進の指導を続けている。

武蔵野音楽大学卒業。同大学院修了。 これまでにチェロを馬場省一、クレメンス・ドル、毛利伯郎の各氏に師事。 現在フリーのチェリストとしてソロ、オーケストラを中心にライブ活動や豪華客船での演奏など多方面で活躍中。 これまでに『風と共に去りぬ』、『十二夜』、『エリザベート』、『ジェーン・エア』、『ウエストサイド物語』50周年記念ツアー 等にオーケストラメンバーとして参加。またワンオクロック、知念里奈、ケミストリーなどアーチストとも共演している。 東京ユニバーサルフィル管弦楽団団員。
