one of my favourite pieces of written record, documents from the homosexual incident that led to his discharge from the navy. first two images are handwritten letters by lenny, the rest documents entailing the situation
as indicated in the letters, these are over the course of a several months from may to october of 1945 (for context, ww2 ended in september of this year)
some of my favourite pages of kittys memior/biography about her dad, The Almost Unpublished Lenny Bruce: From the Private Collection of Kitty Bruce pub in 1984
some of the photos are featured by lenny originally in his autobiography or other media he published before his death, but some were unreleased

lenny bruce, chief of sick comedians, featured alongside elaine may, mike nichols, and shelley berman in page 48 of TIME magazine from august 15 1960. photograph by phil both.
one of lenny's several contributions to paul krassner's newspaper, The Realist. this is the 54th edition, dated november 1964.
you can read the full edition as well as all of the others at The Realist Archive Project site: https://www.ep.tc/realist/index.html
krassner also has a great thinkpiece on lenny's legacy in the trump era. he also mentions a WIP of a novel about a satirist based on lenny, which was incomplete or unpublished as far as i know (due to his death in 2019).
you can read it here: https://www.sevenstories.com/blogs/29-remembering-lenny-bruce-while-thinking-about-trump?srsltid=AfmBOoozupaMgJHRuA1bhpzy_YkbMVh2vK-LI1dte-Im00flruhWKRou
