kitty bruce and christie hefner (daughter of hugh hefner, an associate of lenny who contributed to the cost of preservation) viewing archival collection at Brandeis University, all of which was donated by kitty.

the collection was acquired in 2015, and its grand opening was in october of 2016. several recording excerpts, footage and photos are available online but for more in-depth content you do have to contact them!

" Visiting Someone in the Hospital

Guy sits in chair facing you. It's Sunday. You heard them coming down the hall. You have the door open in the semi-private room you're lying in. In the beginning, you had the door closed for privacy, but after laying up so long, you started to welcome the traffic from the hall. Yow're amused at the skill nurses employ, avoiding you completely with a straight-ahead glance when you try to catch their eye. The visitor's question: "I guess they're giving you a lot of shots? Boy, I had my share of them. They were a pain in the ass. Ha, ha! That's pretty good, right? Cause you get a pain in the ass from a shot. Ha, ha! Look at the old guy in the other bed, even he's getting a kick from it. [Whispering] What's the matter with him? Oh, they dont know. How long has he been here? A week, and they still don't know? But in the meantime, they're still taking his money every day. Boy, those doctors got a racket!"
