Sebastian knocked gently on Scott’s door, a small frown on his face. The other had surprised him by telling him that they weren’t going on their date and was now ghosting him. Sebastian wasn’t sure if he had done something wrong, overstepped some boundary, but he was mostly just pissed that he had been dropped like this. He had always struggled with feeling left behind so he was partially hoping that he was just being overly sensitive and that Scott would calm him down. “Scott! Open up dude...”

Sutton never owned a piano before, at least, not himself. The boy never decided to bring one with him during the big move to the city. It was just yesterday he took it upon himself to buy one, finding a decently priced and used upright piano off of craigslist. Better yet, he was able to get it delivered by throwing in extra cash. It was a weary choice to make, but the boy figured it wasn’t something he could ignore forever.

He had just finished seasoning the steaks and placed them ontop the electric grill, hearing that soft sizzling sound. This one was a cast iron grate which meant he could bast it with butter, making it more delicious. Sutton cocked his head to the opening door, smiling over at Jack. “Good evening, I’m glad you could make it,” he teased lightly. “There’s beer in the fridge if you’re thirsty.”

“Your eyes better be shut,” Sutton warned the older man. The boy had mentioned about getting another dog but what he didn’t tell Jack was that he would surprise him with one instead. “Open your arms,” the boy demanded. It was a hard give away as the small labrador puppy yipped before setting him down in Jack’s arms.

As the week went from glorious and fun to gloomy and Derek having to face emotions, or more so avoid them. He didn’t want to do anything else but to go see someone. Someone that could help Derek ease his mind and forget about his professor, or the fact that yet again he was spending another Christmas alone. So he thought. He went to Berlin’s place and knocked on the door. As he waited, Derek was only left with his thoughts and that was a dangerous place to be in. He hated the idea of being alone and he wanted to feel like someone understood him. Once the door was opened he gave little effort to smile but did it anyways. Stepping in, he looked back to Berlin. “Hope you don’t mind. I’ve been having a bad week and I could really use the company” @lccksharp

“This is your old bedroom,” Sutton mused as he sauntered into the room. The boy did a slow 360 as he got a complete look around him. “Hm--” He plopped down on the edge of the bed. “I like your mom and her cooking is great.” He hummed as he patted his stomach. “Don’t think she could ever let me go hungry.”

It didn’t take long for the bathtub to fill with the soothing hot water, adding a small amount of soap that supplied a calming scent in the bathroom. On the floor was Ramsey chewing on an old sock that his dad had tied a knot in. Sutton was feeling the buzz of alcohol in his system, the boy wouldn’t lie when in reality he was a lightweight. Due to his small frame. Once settled in the water, long lets propped up on the edge of the tub as he held a book in one hand. Barely looking over when the door had opened, “Were you able to get away from Dan?” He teased.

Sutton groaned, before collapsing onto the mattress. “Lock the door-- I’m not leaving until tomorrow morning. No more disturbances.. no more kids trying to pull out my hair, or my brothers trying to tell me what to do.” The boy laid face down on the bed a moment before popping up. “Though, I think I’ve finally figured out my dads April fools prank.”
