My name is Crystal and I am the organiser of Lout of Count's Family BigBang event!
Initially, the Bang was not going to take place this year, but considering the recent activity on the blog, I am putting out this survey to help me determine the number of people that would be interested in participating in the BigBang and see if it would be worth it to hold the event despite my busy schedule.
The survey will be accepting responses till May 15.

The LCF BigBang is finally getting started!
As this event commences, I would like to take this opportunity to thank @solace-in-the-deep for this year's wonderful banner. Thankyou!
And now, here’s some important information regarding this event:
Q. What is a Bang?
Simply put, a bang is a type of fan challenge in which writers and artists work together to produce new collaborative content for the fandom.
In a reverse bang, the artist signs up first and creates a sketch, and the writer claims the person they want to write for based on the sketch and summary the artists provide.
Just like last year, this year too, we'll have an optional theme which will be decided through voting.
Q. Who can participate?
This event accepts writers, graphics-makers, comic artists, traditional artists, and illustrators. Whether this is your first time participating in an event or you’re a fandom event veteran, it’s all fine as long as you’re interested in meeting new friends and providing new content for the fandom!

Q. What are the responsibilities?
• Writers will create a fic of a minimum of 3,500 words.
• Artists will create a minimum of 1 stylistically complete work or a flat coloured work, to the best of their ability.
Q. What is the schedule?
May 25-June 8: Theme Voting
June 16-30: Artist sign-ups
July 4-15: Writer sign-ups and claims
July 20: Artist-Writer pairings confirmed
August 12: First check-in

September 5: Second check-in; final day to drop out without penalty
October 2: All works due except confirmed pinch-hits and extensions
October 3: Posting begins

→ What’s a Bang again?
A Bang is a type of fan challenge in which writers and artists work together to produce new collaborative content for the fandom.
In a reverse bang, the artist signs up first and creates a sketch, and the writer claims the person they want to write for based on the sketch and summary the artists provide.
The theme for this years Bang is Dragon!Cale (or KRS, either is fine), which is completely optional.
→ Who can join?
This event is open to artists of all abilities, in any stage of their fandom journey – a fun opportunity for the LCF family to come together and celebrate the various relationships between different characters in the LCF cast written by Yoo Ryeo Han.
→ What are the artist requirements?
Artists must create a minimum of 1 stylistically complete work or a flat coloured work, to the best of their ability.
There is no maximum limit, but all works must be finished and polished by the final deadline.
→ What do you mean by wips?
It's just a rough sketch of the idea you would like to create for in the event! It does NOT have to be a full piece of art or coloured art. Just some simple line strokes would also do - for giving a generalised idea of what you have in mind to anyone who'd see it during the claiming process.
→ Why can't I put my signature or any watermarks there?
To stay anonymous during the claiming process! While art is often recognizable, anonymity should be maintained as much as possible until after the official list of partners is released.
Kindly keep your WIPs and a short summary of your idea (not exceeding 100 words) ready, while you sign up as they will be required.

Writers must first sign up using the link below; once the sign-up is submitted, the claiming document will appear. Click on it and enter your credentials as instructed in the document, in front of the art you are most interested to work on.
If the art you wanted is taken, kindly move on to your next best choice.
Claiming will be done on a First come, First served basis.
Writer-Artist partnerships will be announced/confirmed no later than JULY 20.

Heya everyone! Voting time is over and we finally have the results with us!
So what’s the theme?
The theme is: Dragon!Cale AU (or KRS, either is fine)
Out of 48 responses, 27.1% of you voted for the Dragon!KRS AU.
This was a close one though! Just 1 vote away from winning was "Found Family" and "AU/UA", with "Travel" close behind! Whew, I thought we were going to end up with 2 theme options this year...
The theme is entirely optional, so you can choose to run with it or totally discard it! Whatever you decide, it’ll definitely be interesting!
Next up? Artist sign-ups open JUNE 16! Artists, keep your wips ready as you'll be required to upload them while signing up!
Kindly Note: Do NOT add watermarks or signatures to your wips as we need to keep them anonymous from the writers who'll be signing up later.
