Adrien hadn’t left his room since the previous night. There was a surprise akuma attack while him and Ladybug were patrolling, and he had gotten mind controlled again. He didn’t help, and left Ladybug all alone to defeat the akuma herself.

( Stupid. Irresponsible. Careless. )

He was curled up on his bed, alone. Plagg had left him, surely to go get his twin. He never MOVED from the bed.

He heard the door open, and he tensed.

❝ Fe? ❞

He hoped it wasn’t their father.

               The ear splitting sound of ceramic hitting the tile floor and the sharp yelp of the young woman was enough to alert the elder Agreste if realization had yet to dawn on his mistake. 

               Hues of ocean blue stared, undeniably dumbfounded not at the ‘perfect combination’ (five shots, one sugar, one splash of cream) of espresso elegantly decorating the white beneath them, but at Félix. It had burned coming down, the liquid successfully staining the rosey exterior of her skirt and flats. Yet, it went unnoticed as a hand rose to her glossed lips. 

               A peck, it was all it had been. Nothing but a minimal ‘thank you for preparing my coffee just right’. It shouldn’t have been anything but normal...if it hadn’t been the first affection Félix had dared to share with the designer.  

                Félix had kissed her and she didn’t know how to respond.
