Agnes Ademakinwa gave the historical narrative of the three musketeers by letting us realise that the concept celebrates the concept of “ one for all, and all for one’’ - the brotherhood of man and the unity of purpose. According to her, ‘’ Me, Myself and I’’ are indeed 3terms denoting the same person. It is the concept of individualism that sees things from ones viewpoint alone. Man united within himself to carry out his selfish, myopic and parochial viewpoint. Agnes Ademakinwa affirmed that these 3 terms are the ingredients that breed and nurture bullying and bad governance. The Bully sees his act purely from a selfish standpoint. It is what is in it for him. In Bad governance, the leaders do not worry about what is in it for the populace, it is , ‘what is in it For me,’ for them. It is a self - centered concept. She asserted that the concept of the three musketeers is the root of bullying and every evil act. The ‘I’ mentality, that seeks his own benefit alone. Players in the arena of Bullying believe in the superiority of themselves against others. Their victims deserve their assault because they feel superior to them. It is the strong versus the weak in the continuous abusive cycle. Asking as to whether the three musketeers are ravaging our youths, she opined that our youths today, largely to a great extent have been brought up by parents who have met their needs without allowing these ones to suffer for these necessities of life. so they have seen possessions as rights not as privileges. At another end of the spectrum, are other youths who have been totally neglected by their parents who brought them into this world in the moment of intense passion.
