NIMBLE fingers plucked aimlessly upon guitar strings, foot tapping along in sync to the rhythm as he bobbed his head in a steady groove to the chord progression he had figured out for a new song he had written for Isaac. Eyes fluttered closed momentarily, just losing himself to the love of his music and to the love of his soon to be husband, tongue darting out to wet his bottom lip as he remained concentrated. He didn’t hear the door open though he heard it shut, eyes opening suddenly as he immediately offers his lover a grin, unable to help how happy he got every time Isaac walked through the door. Though the MOMENT he spots the wolf, he can immediately sense that something is wrong. His smile evaporates, worry taking over as brown hues take in the sight of his beloved. He’s quick to get to his feet, placing the guitar down as he strides toward Isaac, not wasting any time before he wraps his arms around his fiance, pulling him in for a tight and protective hug. Hugo wasn’t sure WHAT was wrong and he wasn’t sure if Isaac was in the mood to talk about it or not but he was THERE for the man of his life, wanting nothing more than to take away his pain at this very given moment.

      blue eyes flicker over to the other, a smile on her lips as her head tilted to the side ever so slightly. “ why do you wish for me to stop? “ she asked ;; her tone bright and smiley but also devoid of any kind of emotion. “ it’s just a song, isaac. a nursery rhyme, even. ”

It was a strange feeling, to have someone to care about as much as he cared about his adopted son in front of him. He had lost Allison and he had thought that would be it, but somehow Isaac managed to get in past his walls and now he cared for the younger man like he was his blood. He was better than his living blood, of that Chris was certain. “You are so strong and kind and everything I could have asked for in a son and so much more.” He promised the teen, drawing him into his arms. It wasn’t often that Chris allowed himself physical affection, but with Isaac he would make an exception. He would do pretty much anything for the boy, evidenced in his next words. “If I was...if something were to happen to me. I would take the bite. So that you wouldn’t have to go through that. If it came down to it. If it makes you feel better, I’ll find an alpha here and do it now.” He had never thought about volunteering to be a werewolf, but anything to protect his small family.

Allison bit the inside of her cheek to keep the silly smile that was threatening to brighten her face from tugging at her lips. Her heart fluttered as she looked up at him. He was all sharp lines and hard edges on the outside, but then there was the other side of him. There was his bright, hopeful eyes. There was his soft, crooked smile she was sure he wasn’t aware of when he looked at her sometimes. There was his gentle fingertips against her skin, hesitant yet steady at the same time. It was that Isaac she liked the best.

‘I wouldn’t mind if you did.’ She doesn’t look at him when she says it, not directly, her eyes settled just above his shoulder. It felt like she was back at Beacon Hills, felt like she was in high school again, felt like she was young and happy and free. Allison liked that feeling, she decided, missed it. Her eyes moved to meet his again, feeling a flush rise from her neck all the way up to her pale cheeks, tinged with pink. ‘If you had a crush on me.’ She added, finally letting the shy, happy smile lift the corner of her lips.
