You thought you were free. Free from being a puppet, a pawn in another's game.

In desperation you became part of a chain, a seal, a lock. Weeks later you were taken, used. Your body, a battery, yet another spell component. Drained of life for centuries. Seeing the one you fought to save in your desperation, find you, save you, is a relief.

"Fix the world, then we can go home."

You thought you were free. Free from being a puppet, a pawn in another's game. Denying someone access to see you, to know you are a seal, to know you wholly in a way only the other half of your soul knows, leads to your kidnapping. They tried to get all of your friends, but settled for just you. Your body, a container, yet another spell component. Disintegrated, and brought back. The next thing you see is the other half of your soul, the only one who knows you wholly, sobbing. Grasping onto you, clinging to you, telling you that there is someone else in your body.

You thought you were free.

"Fix the world, and then we can go home."

You thought you were free.

Free from being a puppet. And here you are. Once again a puppet. Something is in your body, and you don't remember what happens when it's in your place. Something else is in your body and when they are there the life in your eyes becomes nothing. Something else is in your body.

The next thing you see is the one who asked to see you, saving you. The one you denied knowledge, saves you, and returns you to the other half of your soul. You thought you are free.

And no one remembers that you were disintegrated. And no one knows you have something else in your body. Except the one who asked to see you.

Except the thing in your body.

Not even you know.

You have no idea you are not free.

I've been wanting to talk about some of my oc's for a while, but my biggest concern is that since all of my oc's are roleplay characters, I would spoil their stories while yapping about them. However! I have asked my wonderful servermates (for this character) to filter out a tag so I can yap about her and not spoil. With that said: here is MCRP!Lillian

I don't plan on going into everything here, just main points in the backstory. So if you have questions or anything feel free to ask :D (either in ask box, comments, replies whatever)

This is mc!Lillian (or ec!lillian. 'ec' comes from the servers name 'egg carton')

General lore content warnings: Experimentation, Child experimentation, dehumanization

Important note: In conjunction with the 'dehumanization' warning, other characters and mc!lillian use the pronouns 'it/its' in a negative context of being an experiment and not being seen as a person. I understand that some people choose to use it/its pronouns and none of this is my opinions on real people using it/its pronouns for itselves.

Lillian is a winged elf but also an experiment. In the servers history/backstory there was 'The Monarchy' which was a civilization comprised of elves. These elves were overall cruel and treated non-elves (in our case: people with origins (from the minecraft Origins mod)) as less than. This treatment eventually led to a starborne known now as 'The Director' (any/all) to start a revolutionary war against the Monarchy.

During this time they were making experiments. Testing things. mc!Lillian was the third of these 'experiments' called simply 'Experiment #3' (it/its). Experiment #3 was the product of wanting to know how elves worked and physically reacted. Two doctors worked together to create it Dr. Felius (a Feline Origin, he/they) and Dr. Ultima (an Enderian (enderman origin), she/her): Dr. Felius making the machine and Dr. Ultima doing basically everything else.

Experiment #3 was in use for 4 years before the Monarchy was defeated and the revolutionary forces implemented a replacement government known as 'Nova'. Afterwards some scientists still experiment on Experiment #3, but nowhere near as much as during the war. From creation Dr. Ultima's assistant Galaeth, a sentient enderman (he/him), was Experiment #3's primary caretaker, and he very quickly grew attached to it.

As Experiment #3 got older it was trained to be an assistant. It began to help Dr. Felius on 'Experiment #8', a large cat like weapon. Something went wrong and the experiment lost control, almost injuring Experiment #3; but Dr. Felius pushed it out of the way, themself being injured instead. Experiment #3 helped them recover, and worked on Experiment #9, a digital mask connected to robotic cats that Dr. Felius would be able to use to see, as the attack from Experiment #8 had left them blind. It was during this time that Experiment #3 began using the name 'Lillian' (she/her).

Lillian continued working as an assistant, this time under Dr. Ultima, before being requested by The Director to act as an information gatherer in a section of their territory that had an unusual spike in activity. Agreeing, Lillian left and appeared at 'Spawn'.

Thats all of the backstory, there's a lot more that has been played out, but I'll get into that another time. The only thing that is important that I didn't include here is that Lillian did not have wings until later. Those are new they haven't been here the whole time.

I have mc!lillian who i info dumped about here. If you want to ask more specific questions about her i'll be happy to answer those.

and the other two i've been teasing for a while: Juniper Tyndall and Asin Sadiv. I wanted to talk about them sooner but health stuff got in the way of me drawing and introducing them the way i would want. So I can give a little bit of who they are, cause i do still want to draw something to intro them.

Juniper Tyndall (she/her) is my current dnd character. Water Genasi fighter (Pirate flavored) and Asin Sadiv (they/them) is her first mate (npc played by the dm). They are very loyal to each other, especially in the present time the campaign is taking place. Two halves of a whole, they would share a soul if they could.

Verena 'Angel' Thalassia (she/they) - Fox/Enderian Who was a caretaker for an experiment focused around the abilities of 'respawn'. Currently on extended leave (and is only still at Nova for appearances)

Dr. Valenthar (they/them) - Shulk (Shulker) who has been involved in Nova since the rebellion. Made Experiment #2 shulker spies.

Essie (she/her) - Merling (axolotl) New excitable intern who wants to prove herself and will do things she isn't allowed to do to do so.

Favorite desserts:

mc!Lillian's would be a chocolate chip cookie. not just because of minecraft limitations, I imagine it was one of the first real sweets she had and there's a lot of sentimental stuff there, even if she doesn't realize.

Juniper would love caramel, specifically salted caramel. Sweet & salty would be her go to dessert

Asin's would be anything with coconut. I think they would really like coconut cake, but have a special fondness for ginataang bilo bilo (A filipino coconut dessert soup)
