This was just great. He really should of listened when people told him to spend the extra money and just take a plan and fly rather than risk the long drive in a car that was barely keeping it together on a good day. But his funds were low and he didn’t want to start his new life at college already in debt. So Scott had packed up his things, said goodbye to his Mom and promised to call her when he finally made it to the city and settled into his dorms.
But instead of doing that Scott was stranded on the middle of a road with seemingly nothing around for miles but the blaring heat. The car had given out on him and with no gas station or anything around for miles, well, he kind of seemed beyond screwed. That was until he noticed something in the distance, some kind of set of buildings off-road that looked to be Scott’s best attempt at finding some help. So he started his journey, sweating from the heat and just hoping wherever he was heading had a working phone or some kind of contact who could fix cars. Completely unaware of what he was stepping into as he walked through what appeared to be some kind of ranch...?
“...Hello? Is, uh, is anyone around?”
