@lcvelybrcther || get yourself a yukari who compares you to flowers. (still open for likes)
After looming over the garden to make sure every flower was attended to thoroughly, she finally place the water can down. ❝ Ah, the flower Kaochon would be… ❞ Pause. She suddenly feels herself grow increasingly nervous for some reason. ❝ The flower… Kaoru would… ❞ Another pause. The more she was silent, the more it grew increasingly harder to speak up.
With flushed cheeks and an averted gaze that was set back on the flowers, she started to fidget. ❝ He’d be a cactus because he’s a pain in the ass. ❞ Of course he’s a pain in the ass, with his stupid mischievous smirk, his love for pranks, the way he always has to subtle touch her arm or shoulder when they’re together, or the way he looks and smiles at her. Oh god, the way he smiled at her… it was so unfair. Shutting her eyes closed quickly, she tried to picture his smiling face.
❝ Actually… ❞ She breathed out. Placing her piano fingers on her chest, she was trying to calm down her thumping heart. ❝ Actually, Kaoru is a chrysanthemum. Yeah, that’s the flower he’d be. ❞ A small smile made it’s way onto her face.
❝ Chrysanthemums represent fidelity, optimism, and joy. And Kaochon, well, he’s faithful to all his friends, he’s also very optimistic. ❞ She nodded to herself, feeling proud of her comparison. ❝ Kaochon is so joyful, too. He smiles a lot, he’s just the embodiment of happiness. ❞ Yukari feels heat spreading throughout her cheeks as she speaks more about Kaoru, but at this point she really didn’t care who was watching anymore. ❝ His smile is the best thing about him. ❞ She let out a giggle.
❝ I love Kaochon’s smile most of all. ❞ She placed both her hand over her heart. Maybe it was because she felt relaxed surround by all the flower, or just relaxed by the thought of Kaoru’s smile, but it was weird for her admit the true feeling. But she also felt glad about it, almost as if a single chrysanthemum was blooming from within her.
