".... So. Anyone else having a weird day?"
"Please don't let this be another gallery thing."
"I remember trying an apple pie and salted caramel coffee once! I'd like to try it again sometime."
"I just... don't remember the cafe I got the coffee from."
@le-chateau-fromage Meets the Farry
Garry didn't really understand what happened when he finally escaped his house. All he knew is that he was looking to get some fresh air, and some guy came by. Before he knew it he was scooped up. The man didn't seem to care about his tiny protests. Eventually being put in a bag to keep from biting.
Even if the situation wasn't the most ideal, at least he had food. Pellets of course. Though he wasn't sure he was hungry enough to stoop so low just yet. The first day or so was spent trying to get out of his cage and biting the guy who kidnapped him. Sure, the guy probably didn't know he just kidnapped another human being, but at this point Garry didn't care. He was just desperate to get out. Garry had no idea where he was now. Some kind of... pet show? No it just looked like they were hanging around talking about their pets. Whatever it was he wanted no part in it.
Garry was currently trying to chew through the leash the guy put him on when he spotted them. Zelie and Palomine! Even if they only met briefly he recognized them anywhere. So far, no one else was able to understand him, but he could understand the other pets here. So... Maybe. Garry gnawed on that leash as hard and as fast as his teeth could manage. Though, being a ferret he wasn't quite built to gnaw. But he still managed to get free and took off. Much to the annoyance of the guy who force adopted another human.
There was no thoughts. Only escape as he ran up to Zelie and scaled her like a tree.
"Leave me alone! I'm not a pet!" He hissed.
Garry clung into Zelie like she was currently his only life line. The guy finally caught up to him. His tone was very apologetic it was almost insulting.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I put him on a leash and... I'll try to catch him and put him in his carrier. I'm so sorry about this."
"Don't touch me!" Garry hissed again, moving behind Zelie's neck hoping it would shield him from those grabby hands. Garry tried not to break eye contact for too long, but he knew he saw Palomine too. He wasn't sure what all she could do to help him, but at the very least he would like help getting away from this unintentional kidnapper!

Garry stood there at the entrance to The Breaker Box. He had hoped by this time of the night that it was closed for the evening. If it wasn't, he waited outside until all the patrons had left for the evening.
His mind was racing. He was tired. Exhausted actually. But he refused to go back to sleep. Garry had told no one what had happened to him. Why he took so long to put the dateviators back on. Why he was so distant. He was losing his mind.
Once he was sure no one had been inside but the two he was here to see. Garry moved quickly. His pace only quickened when he saw them. Eddie and Volt. The young man almost broke down right there. His arms wrapping around who ever happened to be the closest at the moment. His face buried in their shoulder.
"I can't take it anymore." He said, crumbling before he even started. "That damn gallery. That damn Fabricated World."
Garry's fingers clung desperately to the fabric in his hands.
"I almost died. I almost died and neither of you would have known."
@rosesilverpenrp wants to Pet The Farry
Rose glanced at the purple ferret that climbed her for safety, then at the cat. She didn't recognize this one, so she gently placed a hand on the ferret's back. "Alright, let's get you away from this mean kitty." Keeping a gentle grip on him, she began walking back to her apartment. Just another day on Maple Island... Still, she glanced at the ferret. "Lemme guess, gray faceless people turned you into a ferret?" The hair and purple coloring was the biggest giveaway, but she couldn't say she recognized the hairstyle.
The followed a little ways, meowing up at Rose pitifully in hopes she would give up it's prize. All the while chittering and chirping as it attempts to coax Garry down.
Garry had seen it before in cat videos. He thought it was adorable. Now it was terrfying. Garry leaned into the hand a bit. Oddly enough it was comforting.
Shoo! Shoo!
Garry hissed.
When Rose spoke he was distracted from the cat as his tiny eyes grew wide. Could he understand him?? Garry got over the shock and just slowly nodded before it turns more frantic.
Yes! Yes that's exactly what happened! Do you know how to fix this? Can you help me??
@pri-rp Ib wants to pet the Farry
Ib's response at least meant he was a cute little ferret. So that was something at least. Garry dooked as he closed in for a hug. Or well, what he assumed was a hug. His tiny paws carefully climbing up to hug her properly. Or well. As properly as he could given how short his little legs were.
Sure. There was probably nothing Ib could do to help him. But being in this house all alone wasn't ideal either. He hadn't even been able to get into the cupboards to eat.
I'm sorry I'm not myself right now. Don't be afraid to come in!
@micsmasmuses Continued. From This Post.
Volt was in the kitchen cooking up dinner for the three as Eddie was still out at the moment. Last minute fixings for a new house while Volt had finished early to come home. He assumed Garry had been napping, that’s why he never answered when he called to him. His keys are on the table so he didn’t really think much of it.
He was humming to himself till he hears little feet running along the laminated floor. Setting the knife down from cutting up peppers ( green and red sweet peppers ) he looks down blinking a bit in surprise. Did Garry buy this little creature?
“Well hello there” he smiles as Garry paws at his boot. “Did Garry buy you? Did you leave him alone for his nap?” He says gently picking him up. Curling him up in his arms as he practically holds him like a baby.
“What’s your name? You’re awfully cute” he chuckles smiling fondly at him while gently scratching under his chin then down to his belly.
“What’s got you so worked up, huh? Such pitiful eyes you’re showing me love.”
Honestly. Garry should have expected as much. He probably wouldn't be able to recognize either of them either if they suddenly turned into an animal.
Still it was kind of disheartening and very frustrating. Could ferrets cry? Because Garry felt like he was going to. At least the chin scratches felt nice.
And now he was getting getting belly rubs. Okay. Even if this wasn't out of the norm for them. In the current situation it just felt weird. Garry wiggles until he was back on his four paws. Reaching up to touch Volt's face.
Please don't do that, hanii.
Garry may need to be creative if he wanted them to understand. The little ferret climbed up into Volt's shoulder. Getting the lay of the land on his lover's shoulders. He didn't see a notebook in sight though.
Maybe if he could get into his art studio. Did he close the door? Garry went to crawl down and....
Oh.
Oh no that's high. That's too high.
