Unplanned Excursions - Kit & Rose
A sigh escaped her lips again as she sat back against her couch, trying to make herself comfortable. But it was difficult, her mind and body constantly active. She'd though that after all the stress she had accumulated pre-audition would suddenly be taken off her shoulders after she went through with it, no matter the result.
But in then end, the audition had not went as planned, and why the stress left her, it was quickly replaced by self-doubting, hurt and a twinge of anger to top off the sentimental cocktail brewing inside of her. She rolled her eyes when she realized she had once again been reading the same line over and over from her magazine.
Grabbing the phone who was lying on the table, she checked the time. It was well in the afternoon already, and she wondered slightly if he hadn't forgotten her, then again, he had promised some element of surprise. Rose smiled lightly, the small words of comfort he had sent her my text the day before did help though. Compliments always felt nice, of course, but she knew they meant something coming from him. Like she hoped he knew it went the other around too,coming from her.
She was about to retry reading that pesky paragraph that was causing her trouble when she heard a knock at the door. Looking up curiously she padded slowly towards the door, opening it and smiling at the familiar face on the other side. "I almost thought you'd forgotten me" Rose said with a small smile. "Wan't to come in, or do you have plan to drag me away?" she asked jokingly.
Um. For starters, please never…NEVER use Kit-Bag as a nickname ever again. And, I think you two use this “honesty” rule a little to liberally.
Fine, back to the old faithfuls of Kit-Kat, Kitty and Christopher. Shut up, we weren't being rude. It's just really weird. Like when you'rea kid and you see your teacher outside school...
ldncalling-kit replied to your post: What is even happening. And why is it being...
oh../youre/ scared im going to have to go into hiding for a bit.
Actually I'll agree you may have the worst of us all right now. But hey, obviously the ladies like the hair. Although you're not getting virtually yelled at...
ldncalling-kit:
I’ll ask someone to film it then, send you a montage of all the graceful falls? I know, and completely understand. Whats the latest? How are you doing?
Ha. Ha. Ha.
If you falling off a pretend horse doesn't wake Ben up, I don't bloody know what will! I keep thinking I see something, like, a flicker or whatever but nurses said he's still the same. Me? I'm getting fat from all my vending machine food! When Dan and David complain about Dany's weight, I will blame that vending machine. That wonderful, wonderful vending machine.
What's this I hear about you partying without me?
Two's Company || Em &Kit
Being home alone was definitely doing nothing for Emilia – she had already tidied and re-organised just about everything she could get her hands on and she had taken to speaking to Alfie as though her were a person and she expected an answer from him... She was itching to start work, to even just get to the readthroughs and have a chance to get out of the house and feel productive, rather than mooching around doing next to nothing. Still, she thought, at least she could bother Kit in the evenings. Until he started War Horse, of course, but by that time Ben would be back and some of her other friends' schedules would have lightened and... Pulling up in front of Kit's flat, she shook her head. It didn't matter what was happening in the future, really, all that mattered was that she wasn't going to spend another night talking her dog through season 4 of HBO's 'Girls'.
Grabbing her phone from the seat beside her, Em slid from her car, locking it behind her before making her way to the secured door of Kit's block of flats. A small chuckle escaped her as she looked up, having heard the story of how Kit fell from the first floor window one too many times and, as she pressed the buzzer relating to his home, it was this she thought of, creating an image far funnier than the actual incident in her head. “It's me, let me in!” She said instantly, the moment she heard the crackle of the receiver.
