Do you have any good advice for starting and sustaining a long distance relationship?

oh man this is like a serious question uh

starting? gauge their interest or openness to starting an LDR. it’s tough and not everyone’s ok with that.

sustaining? communication, simple as that. talk when you can, but don’t let it stop you from having a life. if communication fails, then that’s when the relationship breaks down. Try to involve them in your life however you can. :)

The absolute worst thing about being in a long-distance relationship is knowing where you want to be and you who want to be with, and not being able to do it. It's like I'm waiting for my god damn life to begin at this point.

Side note; He sent me some genuinely beautiful messages today, that made me cry. So I secretly bought him stuff in the mail. *cough* lootcrate *cough*
