Ladrien June 30: Paris
Well, it’s here. I made it all the way through @ladrienjune and really enjoyed it! I figured I’d cap it off with a little bit of everything for the Lovesquare. Chat Noir ran along the rooftops of Paris in the evening, thinking back on the last few months of his life; from his first dinner with Ladybug to their first month anniversary, to the fight against his father, to the sleepover last night. It might sound odd, but Adrien wouldn’t trade the events of the last few months for anything. He was dating the love of his life, they knew each other’s identity, and they had taken down Hawkmoth. Granted, he might have been happier had Hawkmoth NOT been his dad, but he was taking that one day at a time, thankfully with a lot of support from his friends, Nathalie, and the Gorilla. He landed on Marinette’s balcony, knocking on the trapdoor. “Hello purrinces,” he greeted, only for her to close it again. Chat knocked again, and Marinette opened the trapdoor once more. “Your puns are still terrible,” she said, rolling her eyes. Chat grinned before leaning forward and giving Marinette a gentle kiss. “Do you want to come in?” “Actually, I was thinking of going for a run?” Chat watched as Marinette glanced over to her desk, then back to him. “Sure,” she agreed after a moment of deliberation. “Spots on,” she called, and Chat smiled as he watched her transform. “Race to the Eiffel Tower?” She asked, before running and leaping off her balcony. Chat followed after a moment, catching up quickly. “A head start is no fair, my lady,” Chat teased as they raced through Paris. “All’s fair in love and war, kitty,” she responded, blowing him a kiss with her free hand. Chat blushed and grinned, before pulling ahead slightly. “If you say so, bugaboo,” he turned to wink at her. They were nearing the Eiffel Tower when he felt her right beside him, and he pushed harder, but couldn’t shake her. As he accelerated to the top of the tower, he could just make out a blur of red rushing up alongside him in his peripheral. Chat landed at their finish line, and turned to see Ladybug already looking at him. “I think you win, my lady.” She grinned, “What do I win?” She leaned in and pressed a kiss to his cheek. He placed a kiss on her cheek in return, and then on her lips, “One of those.” They sat on top of the monument for a few hours, enjoying each other’s company.. Talking, laughing, kissing, watching over Paris. They had both detransformed some time ago. Adrien kissed Marinette once more, before noting the time. “I should probably head back.” She nodded, “Spots on,” she said, before picking him up. “Let me carry you home?” Adrien couldn’t refuse, and held tightly to Ladybug as they accelerated through the streets of Paris. It was over too quickly. Adrien stood in his bedroom, and kissed Ladybug goodbye before she slipped out his window. He couldn’t wait to see her tomorrow.
