Attempting Escape

in which Allen gets out. it’s the reason why he has a shock collar now 😔

Allen couldn’t believe it- he was out. He ran and ran, feeling the cool air of dawn streaming through his hair and brushing over his sensitive skin. Nothing out there smelled clinical, or sterile, or any of the smells that- at this point -were likely to make him fawn.

Eventually, due to the fact it had rained the night before, Allen eventually slipped, landing on his back and slightly hitting his head on the cobblestone. He curled into an agonizing fetal position, holding his head and closing his eyes.

He had no idea how much time had passed between eventually dragging himself over to a bench, lying down on it, being found, and getting carried back to Constable Wordsworth’s house.

Trapped again.

Allen lounged on a seat by the window, closing his eyes contently as he laid there.

It wasn’t so bad sometimes. He was housed, and fed, and clothed, and… bred… but it wasn’t all bad.
