A few progress shots of the warp for my next project. Loom needs a rug under it now that it sits on tile. My second wide piece (about 30% the width of the last one, with only 360 threads instead of nearly a thousand!!), and my first rug. Cotton warp, spaced densely (for rugs) at 12 epi, planning to pack in fat acrylic yarn for the weft to get a fairly rugged & cushy rug. Mixed summer and winter and twill patterns in the threading; mostly planning to use summer & winter treadling. First time needing a tabby...gonna get into that RHYTHM, y'all! Halfway done threading as of today, still need to sley the reed and tie onto the cloth beam, but once I've done that *I can weave!!*!!
