Moleskine's Objectivity Event
I can't remember the last time I posted about something I attended. I guess that's a good sign, right? I've been a busy bee? Too crazed to blog? But I miss it and I couldn't not share the awesome event that Moleskine hosted at the Eyebeam Gallery on Sunday night. A few weeks ago I was invited to take part in a Moleskine focus group specifically for photographers. Moleskine is a totally awesome company and I learned a lot more about the idea behind the brand and where it's headed.
Needless to say, I could not pass up the chance to check out Moleskine's new line of products and to drink champagne with lots of creative folk. You can read more about the Objectivity event on the Molskinerie blog here. Every guest was given a specialty Moleskine notebook and was invited to participate in a group project. The Prosecco flowed freely as did the creativity. I tried to take pictures of the tasty (and sometimes vegan) munchies but nothing really worked because I was trying to juggle a champagne glass, my iPhone, and say, a purple carrot. Did I mention it poured torrentially right as we arrived at the event. The frizz factor was high.
So much hacking going on. So much art.
Notebooks on exhibit.
Josh of Moleskine sticks his card on the wall. So much prosecco.
We participated in the group project by doodling on Moleskine cards while drinking our prosecco. Bet you're not surprised that mine included an ampersand.
Nikki and I headed to Le Granne Cafe after the event for some baguettes, crepes, and chocolate mousse.
