Also like food culture is different like...mile to mile in any county let alone within states and countries (ever ask 3 people what gravy looks/tastes like and get the same answer 3 times?) Like people take any opportunity to misread someone in order to prove how cool THEY are or how much THEY know.

I don’t think each individual person means anything by it except that they have a food opinion to share, but trying to determine what is “correct” in any discussion of local food, slang, or weather is like trying to solve a physics problem except there’s no universal laws of physics and sometimes gravity just isn’t there. The world is comprised of universes the size of a small town and each universe disagrees on the contents of chili

At an ultrasound clinic about 15 minutes away. Which is not a place I ever thought I might be considering to work at, but let’s be real, everything I learned about jobs I learned from fiction so if there isn’t a TV show about it, I don’t know it exists
