The sun is sweltering, their skin is sweating, yet all Kouichi can think at the moment is stop staring, stop staring, stop staring! In typical Takuya fashion, the warrior of fire stripped off their T-shirt to expose their strong, tanned back. And so the elder twin’s blush was only partially due to the heat of summer.
Kouichi continued to hesitate taking off his own long sleeved shirt until finally deciding to lift the fabric over his shoulders while keeping his wrists hidden within the gathering of material between his hands. “We should shower...”
Then the dark warrior wrinkled his nose in distaste at his own suggestion, since Kouichi’s akin nature to cat like creatures had started making him hate water...

In hindsight perhaps inviting Takuya to go with him to a haunted house wasn’t the best plan of action. He was thinking maybe he was over his fear of the paranormal but apparently not. Which was kinda ridiculous considering he knew this was fake paranormal and he regularly dealt with real ‘monsters’ all the time.
Still he walked through the place, stiffly, standing as close to Takuya as he could without actually touching. He was trying very hard not to freak out but inevitably one of the jump scares got him and he latched onto the other goggle-head. Wrapping his arms and legs around the other boy and honestly shaking a little ‘cause he was just that scared. Eyes practically glued shut while he held on like his life depended on it. If he weren’t so scared he’d probably be embarrassed.

“Yes, you are,” Kouichi replied with a slightly suppressed chuckle, swiping the brunet’s sweaty brow as he slid into the warmth of the other’s covers. He was like a literal cat right now - curling against Takuya’s body heat since despite the temperature outside his sun kissed skin was still cooler than the fire warrior’s.
Oh well. He liked his friend’s company and attention a little too much more than he might hate the idea of feinting from heatstroke or something silly like that.
