Maybe it's just me, but after coming back to tumblr, I've noticed it feels really different than it used to.

There seems to be a lot more AI-generated art on my dashboard now, and there's also so much more arguing about it than I remember, my experience was mostly artists sharing their work, fandoms interacting, and people just enjoying each other's creativity.

I don't have a problem with AI as a tool in general, but I do think it's important tbh. If something is AI-generated, just say it is. Calling AI art a handmade digital painting when it isn't feels unfair to artists who spend years learning their craft.

Maybe my dashboard is just different this time around, but I'm curious... has anyone else felt this change, or is it just me?
