leadmeoneternally said: im sorry :((( Don't be sorry my friend! I want to cry. I don't know if you've read something about what happened last saturday here in Argentina, but their visuals never worked, only appeared two or three times, the screens were off the rest of the show (even though they worked before and after), and once we saw A GODDAMNED WINDOW DESKTOP!!. Some people in different sections said the sound was saturated or wasn't the best, and the set of lights didn't worked well either, we were practically in the dark. I love them but they kept playing as if nothing was happening, and that left almost the whole stadium feeling like they just didn't cared, and that's what hurted the most. Fans are fighting between them because some just want to justify them by saying "in the 80s their gig were like that" and the other half are like "dude, have some empathy, we paid for the whole audioVISUAL show, we are in 2018, stop being so fanboy/fangirl". The local production didn't help at all, they sucked as always, and do their (big and worst) part too. Martin recognized the show was terrible to a group of fans outside the hotel next day, but it was too late, he should have said that during the show to everybody, not next day to a tiny group and other would have been the response. In the official page they "apologized" for the failures by saying they came from the local equipment they hired and at the end they said we were "the best show of the tour"...are they kidding us? That's not even an apologize but more like an excuse and only talks about the poor commitment they had with our country by not even bringing their own equipment. I mean, U2 and Roger Waters both have way more complicated sets and they brought them here and worked perfectly. I repeat, I still love them with my whole heart and I want to hang on the good memories like sharing that day dancing, singing and jumping with my sister and yes, they sounded great, Dave have such a powerful voice it made me cry, I get very emotional, beautiful...but the whole situation broke me in half. I just hope I could see them properly soon, but I doubt it bc they come here once in a decade and my sister left so angry and hurted she said she will not see them again even if they play here tomorrow, so I guess I would not be able to share it with her. DM, their crew and the local production that brought them and "organized" this hell of a gig screwed it, no excuses.
