Currently acclimating the Leopard Ctenopoma (ctenopoma acutirostre) to his new home with the bichirs... def been an overdue move. He got a bit more aggressive towards the Pearl Gourami over the past couple of months. Hopefully he settles in well with his new roommates, who are likely too big (and too blind and derpy) to be bullied by him.

I've settled on calling him a boy due to his (kinda prominent?) gill spikes... at least I read the boys have those more? Idk. Could be a sassy lady still. Gonna eventually give him a male name anyway til he tells me otherwise.

Burgundy Leaf Fish in Komodo National Park, Flores, Indonesia. 

These guys were all over in an array of different colours (my favourite find was pink!). Not only do they look leaf-like, they sway back and forth in the current to complete the disguise.
