Space Cow goes spooky
Meet Voltron! He's a young paradise (mustard gas) and he's very small and energetic. His fins were badly shredded when I got him but since then they've grown back quite a bit. I got him a Halloween decoration and some otto friends, both of which he is fascinated by.
I lost Jasper. I think he had dropsy and was too old to fight it off. I'm not sure if it really was as sudden as it felt or if he has been sick for a while and I didn't notice. Either way I have never been this upset over losing a fish. Jasper was a smart boy who always came up to see me. I just wish there was more I could have done for him.
I’ve moved Jasper into a hospital tank. He started swimming weird last night and today he’s been resting on things and not moving around much. I tried to feed him a thawed pea but he isn’t eating. Does anyone have any other ideas to help him? I’m scared he might be dying.
Has anyone had their betta fish naturally lose color? Jasper's turned a metallic grey-blue color in the past month. He's acting normally, swimming and eating okay and his water is testing perfect. Does anyone have an idea of why this happened?
Cow's a Space Cow now 🐮👽

Finally getting a chance to post pictures of our new angelfish. Their names are Roger (orange) and Edilio (black). They are a bonded pair that were relinquished by their owners to us at work because their tank shattered. They've got some scarring but they seem very happy in their new home.
I keep forgetting to post about our koi betta, so here he is. After finding out which fish was the aggressor in the 29 gallon, we decided it was safe enough to add in a betta again. Hong Yu was a little scared of all the space in the tank at first but now he’s comfortable and has become good friends with Athena.
… huh? what’s the setup here? a male and a female together?
It's just one betta in a 29 gallon with some tetras mainly. Athena's a baby spotted leaf fish that's about Hong Yu's size. They're the only semi-aggressive fish in the tank so neither of them are really schooling fish but whatever makes them happy.

I don't think she knows she's a fish and that we can't let her out or hold her. She thinks she's a dog.
We didn't want to leave Apollo's tank empty so we picked up this cute little cow (with lipstick). Cow is super active and is already building a huge bubble nest in the corner.
Unfortunately we lost Apollo. We had suspicions that he was sick but we couldn't figure out with what or how to treat him. By the time we found out he had an infection it was too late. I'm going to miss his freckles and how he'd flare at anyone and anything.
Prawn molted and it's been a while since he's done that so it scared the crap out of me. I forgot that was a thing he did and thought he died. He's actually hiding in Fort Asshole because he's an ass.
So we found out which fish in the 29 has been attacking the others. After finding Timothy dead we knew that it's been Gandalf being aggressive. Athena is too small to do any real damage and they are the only two remaining aggressive fish. Gandalf has been moved in with Prawn Solo who will be getting upgraded to a 20 tall either today or tomorrow. So far the two seem to be getting along very well. While I'm heartbroken about Timothy I am glad we figured this out so no more of the tank mates will get hurt.
He used to be scared of the plant.
Prawn's growth is shocking. It's about time for a tank upgrade.
