At last we have a new member to the team! Meet Leviathan! Listen, I love Magikarp. I always have. A lot of times I replay Gen 1, I get the Magikarp they sell at Mt. Moon. Why? Because Magikarp deserves love!

Leaf’s Journey Chapter 2: 2-Route 3 (A Fateful Encounter)

As Leaf resumes on her journey after an awkward phone call home, she strolls on through on Route 3. However, a certain encounter crosses Leaf with a true beauty.

I am so happy we have finally reached this part of the comic, because we have now met Robin! Robin is actually based on a random Lass trainer of the same name you battle on Route 3 and I had the thought “Hey what if a NPC became part of story?”. Robin will not only return in later appearances, she will become a main character and ONE of Leaf’s main love interest. That’s right, there will be another character appearing soon who will be catching Leaf’s attention. Who you ask? You will just have to wait and see.

As for Robin’s character, I will say her main character traits is that she is more prim and proper than Leaf, but still has a playful attitude. However her Jigglypuff, which I named Patty for more character, is straight up one of THOSE characters. You know the one’s who go like “OH HO HO!” and think they better than everyone. But I hope to still make her an entertaining character. Until next issue lates!

While spending a night in the Viridian Forest, Leaf and crew are awaken by a....surprising guest.

Now don’t get me wrong. I love Beedrill. I do. I have a big soft spot for bug type Pokemon and it’s a shame I didn’t use it or Butterfree for this playthrough, but Beedrill is 3′03″!!!
